Prime Comfort allows amputee veteran to stay mobile
Recently, Prime Comfort worked alongside Tim Harrison, to provide a cost-free solution for a local Grantham community member in need.
Veteran Colin Lambert, who was once a Lance Bombardier in the army, was medically discharged in 1990 after a parachute incident. Due to this Colin had difficulty walking, and so, was aided by crutches.
However, this situation worsened when he became an amputee in August 2022, after his left leg was removed. This left him immobile, due to the lack of wheelchair access on the ground floor of his flat.
Thanks to Rupert and the team here at Prime Comfort, this deserving member of the community can now remain mobile, owing to the generosity and care taken to provide Colin Lambert with a free ramp, which has allowed him to travel unassisted and of his own accord.
- “If it wasn’t for the generosity of them, I would still be stuck in my flat.’’
- “The difference it has made psychologically means I am able to get out and be independent.”
Always willing to help, come and visit us today, to see how our team can benefit your mobility.
To aid Colin we supplied a Doorline Threshold Wedge and Doorline Neatedge.
